This is Andrew and Amelia's incredible woodland wedding in Kent: they made a whole weekend of it and called it 'The A Fest', hiring the campsite at Bloomsbury's in Biddenden so guests could camp in the yurts and tipis on Friday and Saturday. The ceremony was held at The Paper Mill, and they got married outside in the woods, among the beautiful bluebells under a wooden gazebo, with their guests sitting on linen-covered hay bales. Amelia arrived fashionably late but no-one seemed to mind too much given the idyllic setting, and entertained themselves until she arrived, including a few Mexican waves to pass the time!
Amelia wore a beautifully elegant, vintage style dress from Sabina Motasem, which was very pale gold, teamed with flat sandals, loose waves in her hair and a stunning Kelly Spence hair chain, and her 1920s vintage engagement ring. After the ceremony, we made the most of the bluebells for some photos in the woodland, then they had a Cèilidh before heading back to Biddenden for the reception. Bloomsburys, once a greenhouse, was light and airy with a glass ceiling but also full of wonderful nick-nacks like vintage sewing machines, china tea cups and artwork. The campsite was decorated beautifully, with mirrors, arm chairs and a special 'Gabriel' bar!
It was a perfectly executed, magical day where every little detail had been considered, and every person there was having a wonderful time. I think I've run out of gushing words to describe how fantastic this wedding was, so feast your eyes on the photos...
