Wendy and Mike had a beautiful, intimate wedding day at Morden Park House register office and 601 Queen’s Road in Wimbledon last June. I’d class their day as a micro wedding because they had under 30 guests, but the vibe was anything but ‘micro’!
I loved Wendy and Mike’s story. Wendy explained that they’d got together at 17 but split up after 3 years and not crossed paths for another 8 years… until a chance meeting drew them back together. As Wendy told me, they were meant to be! And after a long engagement where life got in the way, they finally got around to planning their wedding day and it really was clear to see what a special couple they are.
Their personalised vows had the whole room choked up, and even as someone who only met them in person that day, I could feel the sincerity of the words they spoke and what it meant to them to be making it official.
